Swimming Pool

Resident guests are welcome to use our outdoor 11 metre swimming pool in season. The pool is heated by solar. Beach/swimming towels are supplied for guests use.

Petanque

Guests are welcome to use our petanque court within the accommodation grounds.

Laundry facilities

Facilities are available for all guests in the accommodation complex & guests are welcome to use the washing line behind the apartment. There is an iron & ironing board in both the apartment and the Tasman Suite.

Internet services

Almyra luxury bed and breakfast provides free WIFI & broadband connection. There are fax facilities within the main house if required. A telephone is available for local calls only. We have good cell phone coverage.

DVDs, books, magazines and games

We have a large collection of DVDs available together with magazines, books and games for your entertainment - obtainable from Fiona and Ron in the main house.

Evening Platter

A gourmet platter with fish and/or cheese can be ordered in advance (normally 6 hours notice required but we'll try to oblige). What a perfect way to spend your first evening or after a long exciting day in the National Park, with a bottle of wine. Let us know your requirements!

Special Requests

If you want to make your stay extra special, why not order champagne, flowers or chocolates prior to your arrival? Please let us know your requirements. To ensure we can fulfil your requirements 3 days minimum notice is required for special requests and the cost will be added to your final account.

Outside

Almyra at Kina is in a spectacular location, set in three acres of coastal garden leading down to the water's edge. The decks provide sitting areas to enjoy endless hours of watching awesome views over the Tasman mountains and estuary and the ever changing scenes.

• For bird watchers there are waders, kingfishers and herons - to name but a few.
• Artists can always find something new to paint (an easel can be supplied if needed).
• Guests are very welcome to wander around the garden, or just to sit awhile at our Estuary Patio by the water's edge; or to explore the pathways around the Peninsula.
• Photography opportunities abound, both from the property and around the Peninsula.

Almyra At Kina is a minute's walk from the outstanding natural beach at Kina with stunning views out to D Urville Island and beyond. There are opportunities for:

• fishing,
• kayaking and boating (boat ramp about 4 minutes drive down the Peninsula),
• and some spectacular photographic opportunities, including world class sunsets and sunrises and some amazing reflections on the estuary.
• For those wishing to indulge their passion for golf, we are a 5 minute drive from the spectacular golf course at Kina Cliffs - Tasman Golf Club - where visitors are always welcome. Golf clubs can be hired from the Golf Club at a nominal price.

Almyra is a luxury coastal retreat for couples looking for peace and relaxation in a stunning location with 360 degree views. We encourage you to spend at least a few nights here to fully experience the wonders of this beautiful region.
